Elsavie provides an easy microbiome test that gives you a full overview of what’s going on in your gut. Gut Secrets™ microbiome test has been developed in collaboration with the researchers of the Food and Fermentation Technology Development Center (TFTAK), who have been studying the microbiome in their laboratory for nearly 20 years.
Our in-house metagenomic pipeline, combining 16S rRNA sequencing technology, bioinformatic processing and vast databases enables us to provide a state-of-the art microbiome testing service. We have built our algorithms on the extensive databases based on our own in-house research as well as the latest scientific literature.

In order to keep an eye on your gut health, we developed the Elsavie Gut Health Tracking and Insights mobile app.
Using the app, you can conveniently monitor stool and gut feeling, daily water and food supplement consumption and keep a nutrition diary. The app is easy to use and reminds you of important things during the day. Over time, a valuable overview of the regularity of digestion and also the relationship between water consumption and excrement accumulates.

Liisbeth Oruste has been working as a nutrition specialist since 2016, after completing her training as a nutrition advisor. That same year, she continued her studies in-depth at Coventry University in England.
Since 2017, she has applied health coaching methods in her consultations.
In 2019, she earned an international personal trainer qualification, and in 2020, a bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition (BSc). She further specialized by completing training as a nutrition therapist in 2023 and qualified as an Ayurveda practitioner in 2024.
For her university thesis, she focused on food microbiology, comparing traditionally fermented kefir with conventional kefir. Her interest in microbiology grew out of her passion for fermented foods,
making her journey into microbiome studies a natural progression—after all, nutrition and digestion are deeply interconnected.
Since 2022, Liisbeth has worked as a nutrition specialist at Elsavie, where she has also trained other specialists in interpreting analysis results.
She is driven by a desire to see people healthy and vibrant, which fuels her mission to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to understand their bodies and take care of their health.
The basis for her client consultations are client’s own goals, readiness for change, and tailored solutions to meet real needs.

Anu Luts is a qualified nutrition therapist who has been working as a counselor since 2021. She holds, among other things, a personal trainer qualification from the "IntensivePT" training, has completed the health coaching training at Evercoach, nutrition therapist studies and blood test interpretation training at Annely Sootsi Health Schools, and is currently studying in the second year of nursing at Tallinn Health Care College.
Anu's experience includes more than five years of counseling, two years of which in Elsavie, in addition to conducting dozens of trainings, and three years of teaching nutrition electives to high school students. All of this and the broad-based baggage mentioned above give Anu the skills to see your health as a whole. Her mission is to advance people's health issues, because a well-regarded client is an empowered and informed independent decision-maker.
"My approach to promoting a client's health is always 100% personal. Together we find the essential changes that will have the greatest impact and that take into account not only food but also other needs such as nutrient density,
portion sizes, microbiological load, stress levels and their correction, sleep hygiene and lifestyle factors that affect health."
